Eisengießerei Torgelow became "Company of the year in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania“ for its engagement in training qualified employees. The Ministry for Economy, Employment and Tourism has offered this award together with the Ostdeutschen Sparkassenverband, the Association of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Association of the Chambers of Trade as well as the Trade Assocation of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
